Dryer Vent Cleaning
Prevent fires, reduce drying times, and protect your appliance investment.

About Dryer Vent Cleaning
Clothes dryers cause thousands of home fires every year in the United States, and failure to clean the vent is the leading cause. Lint escapes past the trap on every load, and it settles in the transition hose, along the duct run, and especially at bends and at the exterior cap where the damper restricts airflow. Once the run is partially blocked, the dryer runs hotter and longer — which is exactly the condition that turns packed lint into fuel.
Our dryer vent cleaning clears the entire run, not just the accessible first few feet. We pull the dryer out, clean the transition hose and lint trap housing, then snake the full duct to the exterior cap with a rotary brush while a vacuum captures the debris. The exterior cap and damper are cleaned, and any bird nest, rodent nest, or crushed section is identified and reported.
You feel the result immediately: loads that were taking two cycles finish in one, the laundry room stops getting hot and humid, and the dryer stops shutting itself off on thermal overload. Airflow is measured after the service so the improvement is documented rather than assumed.
This service is included with our $179 whole-home package and can also be booked on its own at $99 per vent. Rooftop and long second-story runs are handled with extended rod sets.

How the appointment works
- 1Inspection & walkthrough
We arrive in the 9am–6pm window, protect your floors and furnishings, then inspect the transition hose, full duct run, and exterior cap with an HD camera and show you what we find before any work starts.
- 2Containment & setup
Negative pressure is established with a truck-mounted or portable HEPA vacuum so debris travels out of the building, not into your rooms.
- 3Agitation & extraction
Rotary brushes, air whips, and compressed-air tools break loose the bonded dust and buildup while the vacuum pulls everything out under continuous suction.
- 4Verification & report
We re-inspect on camera, take after photos, walk you through the results, and only then do you pay the technician at your doorstep.
